本書主要介紹了中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)副主席、廣西藝術(shù)學(xué)院院長、我國當(dāng)代著名山水畫家、漓江畫派代表人物之一——黃格勝的人生經(jīng)歷和藝術(shù)成就。全書共分為四章，分別為：第一章 黃格勝藝術(shù)的存在背景、第二章 黃格勝藝術(shù)發(fā)展階段的分期研究、第三章 黃格勝藝術(shù)的形式語言風(fēng)格的形成和特點(diǎn)、第四章 黃格勝藝術(shù)的審美價(jià)值取向和文化定位，依次介紹了黃格勝的成長經(jīng)歷、藝術(shù)作品及特色、藝術(shù)表現(xiàn)手法及特點(diǎn)、藝術(shù)風(fēng)格和人格魅力，旨在通過對(duì)其全面、系統(tǒng)、深入的個(gè)案分析，展現(xiàn)中國當(dāng)代畫家的魅力，介紹漓江畫派的藝術(shù)特色。

作者：左劍虹，中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員?，F(xiàn)為廣西藝術(shù)學(xué)院漓江畫派學(xué)院院長、教授、碩士生導(dǎo)師，漓江畫派促進(jìn)會(huì)常務(wù)理事、副秘書長，《漓江畫派》叢刊副主編，桂林致公畫院院長。長期致力于中國畫創(chuàng)作理論研究與實(shí)踐。著有《創(chuàng)意圖形》（與羅鴻合著）、《中國當(dāng)代美術(shù)家畫庫——左劍虹作品集》。

譯者：甄玉，英國桑德蘭大學(xué)畢業(yè)并獲得文學(xué)碩士學(xué)位，廣西藝術(shù)學(xué)院副教授，研究方向包括漢英翻譯、藝術(shù)理論與批評(píng)及中西美學(xué)研究。編寫并出版教材《藝術(shù)專業(yè)英語》，出版譯著《現(xiàn)代設(shè)計(jì)圖史》。
